Broken families, shattered dreams, pre-mature deaths, and crime are the results of addiction. A de-addiction center for durg addicts, alcoholists has been envisioned for the first time in Coimbatore. To begin with it will house around 10 people for a period of 25 days during which medical, psychological and physical aspects of de-addicting will take place.
Our Vision:
· Is to provide medical treatment and counseling to enable de-addiction of patients
· Family Counseling inclusive of spouse and parents will be envisaged
· Follow up treatment to ensure complete de-addiction will be provided
Proposal:
A house will be rented out in the suburbs of Coimbatore, providing a 10 bedded accommodation, administrative and counseling rooms and canteen. Volunteer medical doctors and trained counselors will be appointed to enable the de-addiction process.
This project is a highly valued project and will benefit the society in innumerable ways.
