Poor students in rural areas are not able to complete their studies because of financial problems. Share In Asia decided to start a scholarship program for such children and has been able to help such three poor students in completing their studies successfully.

Scholarship given in the year 2008:

Ms. A. Linda Bright

1) A. Linda Bright - Right from childhood, she has always been good at studies and is very hard working.  She scored excellent marks in her 12th Grade examinations. At present she is pursuing her first year of Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) in Dr. S.N.S. Rajalakshmi College of Arts & Science in Sarvanamapatty. She is extremely jubilant for the scholarship and is striving hard for a
bright future.

Ms. N. Chitra Devi

2) N. Chitra Devi - She is another deserving student who has scored consistently well in her 10th and 12th Grade examinations. At present she is in the First Year of Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Secretaryship with Computer Application) in Bishop Ambrose College in Coimbatore. Her aim in life is to be successful in everything she does and be a good support to her mother.

Scholarship given in the year 2007:

Ms. Joy Prasannal

This year, scholarship has been awarded to 2 promising candidates namely Sundaresan and Joy Prasannal who are undergoing their engineering degrees. This scholarship will be of a great help to them. We thank the sponsors of Share In Asia who have generously helped these candidates to accomplish their dreams. It is good to sow a seed in a student’s life with a faith that  tomorrow they
will support the kingdom of God.

1) Joy Prasannal - She is currently pursuing her first year of Instrumentation and Control Engineering in Maharaja Prithvi Engineering College in Avinashi. She scored well in her 10th and 12th Grade examinations and her ambition is to become a Software Engineer.

2) Sundaresan - He is a brilliant student and has always shown ample interest in studies. He was the topper in the 10th Grade examinations. He is in the First Year of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the V.L.B. Engineering College in Kovaipudur. He wants to become an Engineer and a successful man in his life.

Ms. Deborah

1) Ms. Deborah ( Sankarankoil, Nellai )

Deborah, daughter of Pastor Gladys Eswararaj, got excellent marks in her Higher Secondary Examinations and wished to go for engineering. She got admission in an engineering college but they asked to pay the fees in a certain period of time.  Because  of  financial problems in the family, she tried for an education loan at Vijaya Bank. But it did not work out. She was in a  situation where she  had  to pay  the  fees or drop out of college.At this  critical  situation in her life, Share  In Asia stepped out in  faith to help this poor girl to payher fees in time.
